New Board Member Orientation POLICY: BIA
School Board Approved: June 6, 2016
A new member is to be afforded the Board and the staff’s fullest measures of courtesy and cooperation. Board and staff shall make every feasible effort to assist the new member to become fully informed about the Board’s functions, policies, and procedures.
A new member will be offered the opportunity to attend the NHSBA New Board Members training/workshop. Each new member will be provided with those materials:
- Board goals
- The current school budget.
- Negotiated Labor Agreements.
- District organization chart
