Student Activity Accounts
School Board Approved: June 4, 2012

The principal of the school shall be responsible for the proper administration of the school's student activities accounts in accordance with state law and appropriate accounting practices and procedures. All monies collected shall be deposited into the appropriate school's student activities checking or savings account at a local financial institution. All payments made from the student activity bank account shall have approval of the principal or his/her designee. Monies raised by student organizations or class activities must be expended for the benefit of students. Student activity accounts and bank accounts are subject to auditing at any time by the finance manager or his/her designee.
